Day 1 - The first day of this sale we will be running two auction rings and will be selling like items, so please come prepared. A few of the items featured on the first day will be a restored 6' Ornate Quincy stove; (2) miniature store display cast iron stoves; Cleveland neon clock; 12' soda fountain bar back; neon EAT arrow sign; (2) Dad’s Root Beer barrel dispensers, Neon “flipper” clock; Vendo Coca Cola cooler; 1940s Maid-Rite cooker; J.P. Coats spool cabinet; enamel penny scale; soda fountain w/ syrup dispensers; S. Hamill & Co Tea box; 6' long horns; Wolf’s Head Motor Oil sign; 8' painted corner cabinet; Hawkeye kitchen cabinet; 7' country cupboard; several primitive pie & jelly cupboards; over 40 pieces of furniture; early framed Winchester print; Old Style Beer prints; 1960s-70s beer signs; loads of advertising items; farm primitives and MUCH, MUCH more.  

Day 2 - The second day of this sale will also be running two auction rings. Items that will be selling on only Day 2 will be stoneware, cast iron skillets, large wood plane and tool collection and smalls. Dorothy Gray Allen of Hamilton, IL passed away at the age of 106. Raised along the Mississippi River between Hamilton and Nauvoo, she remembered as a young child, (back before the dam was built), her father, George Gray, finding Indian artifacts in the fields and areas which are now part of the river. When Dorothy passed away part of her artifact collection was donated to a museum. The balance, which contains some very nice pieces, will be included in this auction. This day will also feature some of the rarest Iowa Stoneware to surface at auction to include Mayer & Bros. - Eddyville, Ia; Walnut Stoneware; Burlington Pottery; Geo. Emerling - Des Moines, Ia; King & Co. - Knoxville, Ia; L. Teats - Eldora, Ia; E. Brunson - Fairport, Ia; Russell & Emerling 4 Gal. Churn - Des Moines, Ia (only one known) and various other pieces of Iowa Stoneware. There will be a quality line of Illinois pottery as well to include Quincy Stoneware, Ottawa Stoneware; J. Stoffer & Son - Macomb, IL; E.G. Martin - Camp Point, IL; E.P. Munson - Tenn., IL; W.H. Clark - Ripley, IL; A.W. Eddy - Macomb, IL;  Macomb Stoneware T.C.Co; I.N. Stout - Ripley, IL; various advertising jugs and bowls; over 10 Stoneware dog door stops; (2) Monmouth birdhouses; Whitehall molded birdhouse; contemporary “Anna Style” pig flask; over 50 pieces of art pottery (mostly Roseville) and numerous other pieces of quality stoneware and related items.

Auctioneers’ Note - This will be a quality two-day antique auction with something for everyone. Day 1 - will be running 2 rings selling antiques, primitives and furniture. Like items will be selling in both rings so please come prepared. Day 2 - will be running 2 rings selling stoneware, primitive tools, cast iron, Indian artifacts and showcase items. Both days will have items available for bidding on Proxibid as well as in-house. Concessions available by Sly Fox Food. Not responsible for accidents.
